I had the absolute privilege to work with Siera and her horse, Dutchess for a recent equine and equestrian photography session held in Eustis, FL. Siera got up really early to meet with hair and makeup specialist, Kira of Onsite Muse and was looking STUNNING in a red dress when I arrived onsite just after sunrise.
Read MoreDo you remember the very first horse you fell in love with? I do and so will Micah! Micah’s mom, Khim, contacted me to set up an equine photography session for her daughter and her favorite lesson horse, Chubbs. How cute is that name?! I really loved this session because it was not only fun to shoot, BUT Micah and my son, Easton are friends from pre-school. So imagine my surprise when I was reconnected with Khim and Micah and learned that Micah was now a horse crazy kiddo like me! Micah had her own ideas about the types of images that she wanted with Chubbs so we worked together to make those happen for her. Every time I look back on this session I will grin from ear to ear and remember how much this young lady loved this horse… I hope when she is grown with kids of her own, she will share these memories with her family.
Read MoreI was beyond excited to meet with Addie and her mother, Khela to start the planning process for Addie’s horse photography session with her newly leased horse, Cruze. Addie and Cruze spend their days at Peak Performance Horses, so it was the perfect location for their photography session. On the day of the session, the weather was bleak looking. Very overcast, windy, with a chance of rain. Well rain it sure did! The rain didn’t stop Addie and Cruze from having fun and finishing their session together. Scroll through to spot the last image of the day, just as the rain started pouring down!
Read MoreI enjoy being who I am! I feel like God created people all different and I get to represent both black and white people because that is how he made me. I am proud of who I am and all that I have learned so far about horses. I am excited to keep learning and spending time with horses and hopefully, I can help to show other people that want to ride to ride no matter what color that they are. Maybe they will see me and know that all kinds of people can ride if you love horses.

Here are just a few of my favorites from their session. I had the opportunity to photograph several horse and human teams over the past few weeks at Dream Catcher Stables so check back to see more soon!
