Amber and Her Horses/ Equestrian Senior Portraits/ St. Augustine, Florida

Yes, yes you can have ALL your horses included in your session!

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing Amber and several of her horses over the years. I think the first time I had her in front of my lens was at a small local horse show. I later photographed her at a barn she was taking riding lessons at as part of a local 4-H team and of course we naturally progressed to holiday horse portraits. So it only felt right that I would work with Amber to create her dream shoot for her equestrian senior portraits located at her home in St. Augustine, FL!

When an Amber was shopping for her perfect wardrobe for her senior portraits her mom sent me a picture of this beautiful gold and black embroidered gown. As soon as I saw this gown I know we just had to add a gold leaf design to her horse. Never has a dress been more perfect!

On the afternoon of Amber’s session we had a cloudy day with soft light. We laughed a lot at the antics of her goofy horses. We may or may not have disturbed a mound of ants. Most importantly we created a gorgeous set up images for Amber and her family to enjoy for a lifetime!
